This year Robin from the blog, Masshole Mommy brought up Dominick the Donkey. I hadn't heard of it, and neither had my husband, but after reading the description of it on YouTube, it looks like it's been around for awhile, and that's for sure a fun song! Another amusing song that never gets old for me, no matter my age, is "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth." I like the version I'm putting up here, but I also like "The Chipmunks" version.
I like all of the above and am posting the last two, just in case you might get a smile out of them too.
How about you? Any fun songs of the season that make you chuckle?
I love the song I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. Such a funny song. :)
ReplyDeleteThere was a cute and funny version of the Grinch that stole Christmas a few years back. I don't know why I keep thinking Jim Carey did it but I'm probably wrong.

WHAT - you guys have never heard Dominic the Donkey? That's just not right LOL. It's huge around here and they play it all the time. I guess I would say it's been around for at least 4 or 5 years??
ReplyDeleteI do love Alvin and the Chipmonks, too, but Dominic the Donkey always makes me laugh. That and Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer :)
I love the Grandma Got Ran over by a reindeer song as well that's a funny one. Jim Carey in the Grinch movie was hilarious, I watch that movie at least one during Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love them all! Yay for the holiday music festivities!
