Tearing down one of the all-time staples to make way for a new roller coaster. We love roller coasters as much as anyone else, but this one'll be missed.
Those are some great shots! I am not a roller coaster fan myself, but my oldest son LOVES them. My husband hates them, too, so until he's old enough to ride alone, we've been doing our best to avoid taking him on :)
I can't do roller coasters with my motion sickness, but it is sad to see something go like that. I was sad to see the 76 ball go on the gas station. Remember that?
Awwww! I guess they need to make room for progress. I was at Cedar Point a long time ago and rode every ride. :) I bet it's changed a lot even since then! :) Awesome shots! :)
Thanks for linking up with my WW, and Thanks so much for the kind words about my photo. Roller Coasters Love them but I can ride any more :-( I have migraines and I get an instant headache now when I ride. But I sure did love them in my earlier days!
I haven't been to Cedar Point in so long! Not since a year after I moved up here! Don't they have enough roller coasters already?!? I already won't get on their biggest ones. ;) Some friends wanted us to go to Halloweekends this weekend, but we're not going. I don't want to ride all the big ones. And going with a bunch of skydivers/BASE jumpers. . . . .I think they'll be on all of them! Plus, we don't have babysitters. Have a great Thurday, Rosie!

I loved roller coasters in my younger days. Not sure I would do as well at my age now. It is always sad to something meaningful being torn down.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from VoiceBoks!

ReplyDeleteLoving Roller Coasters too! Sometimes sad to see things destoyed or taken away that have made up our "old" landscapes!
ReplyDeleteOh no, that really is kinda sad!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I remember riding in that! That is kind of sad to see it go :(
ReplyDeleteWow, that's like watching history being erased... Some things, while not as exciting, should be kept just for nostalgia sake :(
ReplyDeleteYou sure you didn't just back into that thing with your car?
