Those are some great shots! I am not a roller coaster fan myself, but my oldest son LOVES them. My husband hates them, too, so until he's old enough to ride alone, we've been doing our best to avoid taking him on :)
Wow what a great capture!
Oh that is sad! One of my fav rides was torn down and replaced where I like to go. Happy WW :)Paulalifeasweknowitbypaula.blogspot.com
And that's one I missed (never ridden) I hope I can try one sometime. Cool shots!
WOW what great shots, I would have loved to see that.
These are fabulous shots...
Wow, crazy photos!
Love it, we used to have a fab funfair in London (Battersea Funfair) when I was growing up till they decided to pull it down it was a sad day :-)Enjoy the new replacement ;-)Have a good rest of week
I have somewhat mixed feelings about roller coasters: Vertigo, but love the speed...Thank you for visiting my WW today: Instagram Images w/Linky @ ImagesByCW
Great pictures. I do not care for roller coasters, so I'm with you!
I used to enjoy roller coasters, it's been so many years I don't know if I would enjoy them so much!
Stunning photos. Everything has an end.
Roller coasters scare me to death, I am afraid of heights! Very cool shots though, it must have been a bittersweet moment!
pretty cool photos. we live very close to Hershey park..and roller coasters are a part of our daily life, I think we would be sad to see any ones go!
I can't do roller coasters with my motion sickness, but it is sad to see something go like that. I was sad to see the 76 ball go on the gas station. Remember that?
I do remember it...red and blue and it always reminded me of a Clark bar, lol.
I'm a scaredy cat too! Thanks for visiting NanaHood.com Please come back again!
interesting shot...... rollercoaters can be fun but it is sad when you see the old taken down for the new.
Noooo!!! I'm from Northwest Ohio and have great memories of Cedar Point! That kind of makes me sad! :/
Oh no poor ride. My family has been planning a trip to Cedar Point we just haven't made it yet. Thanks for stopping by my blog
Awwww! I guess they need to make room for progress. I was at Cedar Point a long time ago and rode every ride. :) I bet it's changed a lot even since then! :) Awesome shots! :)Zelda the Bored Statue Kitty
great shots. I love roller coasters too, hope a fun one goes up in its place
So that's what they look like dismantled, huh?
It looks sad going down.
Awww, that looks so sad! Hopefully a really good one will take its place. -Jamiehttp://chatterblossom.blogspot.com/
I loved roller coasters in my younger days. Not sure I would do as well at my age now. It is always sad to something meaningful being torn down.Stopping by from VoiceBoks!
Oh no :( I remember when they tore down a favorite ride to make room for a new one.....so many memories......
Oh my ~ great photos though ~ ( A Creative Harbor) ^_^
It's a bit sad to see landmarks go. Even if it's for a new one.
I'm not one for roller coasters but I hope that they put up more interesting rides in it's place.
Thanks for linking up with my WW, and Thanks so much for the kind words about my photo. Roller Coasters Love them but I can ride any more :-( I have migraines and I get an instant headache now when I ride. But I sure did love them in my earlier days!
Great pics. I'm a rollercoaster fan even though it's been years since I rode one. Thanks for the GFC follow and I am also following:)
I bet the new one will be so worth it though!
I haven't been to Cedar Point in so long! Not since a year after I moved up here! Don't they have enough roller coasters already?!? I already won't get on their biggest ones. ;) Some friends wanted us to go to Halloweekends this weekend, but we're not going. I don't want to ride all the big ones. And going with a bunch of skydivers/BASE jumpers. . . . .I think they'll be on all of them! Plus, we don't have babysitters. Have a great Thurday, Rosie!
Demolition remains interesting to see! :) Danica
Loving Roller Coasters too! Sometimes sad to see things destoyed or taken away that have made up our "old" landscapes!
Oh no, that really is kinda sad!
Awww, I remember riding in that! That is kind of sad to see it go :(
Wow, that's like watching history being erased... Some things, while not as exciting, should be kept just for nostalgia sake :(
You sure you didn't just back into that thing with your car?
