Spice Blossom Cookies

Have you heard of Hershey's Spice Blossom Cookies?  They seriously incorporate Hershey's Pumpkin Spice Kisses into the recipe.  Who even knew such a thing existed?!?!  And yet they do!  The thought of these cookies makes me happy.  I can almost smell them baking.  We'll be making this scrumptious looking recipe this weekend, and I hope others will be too!

Anyone who wants to take a look at the recipe can go here:  http://www.akawest.com/2012/09/spice-blossom-cookies.html

Thanks akawest! You've made my day!

    1. That firmly goes against your advice to wait until cooled else you appear to be a savage! I read it w/my own two eyes on your blog, and I pay attention, you know. ;)

  3. Interesting. I used to really hate pumpkin pie, and so anything pumpkin sounded gross, but I have a friend who makes the BEST pumpkin cake and I've become a fan. These sound promising.

    1. They do to me too. Hubby and I shared a piece of pumpkin and toffee cheesecake to celebrate his birthday last week (sounds not so great I know, but it was sooo good) and it gave me the holiday flavors bug. I think these cookies are even going to smell festive cooking. 'tis the season (Fall season that is). :)

      Thanks for stopping by. :)

  5. OKAY -- I had no idea that Hershey made Pumpkin Spice Kisses. I've never seen them on the candy aisle (trust me... I'm there a lot!) Are they in the baking aisle? I'd love to make this for a group potluck next weekend.

    1. I didn't know until today either. Lisa noted Target on her blog (where she got hers), so that's where I'm headed to look for mine. :)

  7. Target's Halloween candy aisle in the back of the store, not with other Hershey Kisses, is where I found them. That was after a special trip, where I started freaking out because I thought they didn't have them. I am such a baby.

    1. Oh you're right...back by the costumes and things in my store. Good point, thanks for sharing. Hubby's late coming home tonight so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to get mine (p-o-u-t-i-n-g) <--and I rarely pout. ;)

Ah well, guess I'll go make dinner for the kids so they don't 'starve.' The cookies will be fun for making after my son's football practice tomorrow.

      Happy weekend, all!

  12. I didn't know Hershey had a pumpkin spice kisses out. Oh, I am so going to blame you for my weight gain once I find those in the store now ;) I totally love pumpkin anything (with the exception of the pumpkin ice cream they put out in November- yuck!)

  13. I'm not doing sugar anymore, so I don't think I can make this one. I use a natural sweetener called BSweet for baking now, but I don't know how I'd make the chips.
