Remembering 9/11

A flag being flown to honor Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania

Today is a big anniversary for America, and one we wish had never happened to remember. But it did, and I've never known what to say about it, there are no words of proper magnitude that ever form. But please know I have felt it as profoundly as every other person in our beautiful homeland.

At the Pentagon

So today I will reflect, and my heart will empathize and ache for the too many who lost their loved ones. And I will say with all of my heart & sincerity, thanks be to God for the land I call home.

  4. I still vividly remember that day. Although I was miles away, the emotion I felt for the people in the midst of that tragedy was so strong. As I look back, I can only say a quiet prayer for them and the families they left behind.
