FlatIronExperts.Com & Cortex Flat Iron Review

There are so many options when it comes to finding and ordering/purchasing the perfect flat iron. The one thing that has become pretty clear over time though, is that the one you do select had better be high quality or there are going to be problems.  That is where Flat Iron Experts comes to the rescue.  This online beauty store offers the best of the best, and at a reasonable price too.

Flat Iron Experts has an extraordinary line-up of top-notch hair straighteners always available and in stock.  From Karmin, to Chi, to KQC, and every top-notch hair straightener in between, you can head on over to FlatIronExperts.com to find the flat iron you are looking to purchase.  If you're not sure what kind of iron you would like, then a few minutes perusing the site, and reading the various descriptions and customer ratings can prove informative and very helpful.

We were lucky enough to receive a Cortex Solo 450° Jet Black 1-inch flat iron with shiny plates.  The customer reviews were great so I had high expectations and was not disappointed.  The Cortex Solo 450° is a professional salon model flat iron that has 100% solid titanium plates and ionized technology for hair that is extremely silky and smooth.

Part of the beauty of the iron was that it heated almost instantaneously, did not pull or tug, and did not cause static or flyaway hair for me (a challenge I have had with other flat irons).  According to Flat Iron Experts, the Far Infrared Heat Rays (FIR), which are electro-magnetic waves of energy, go to work in this Cortex Solo iron, to dry hair from the inside out; that means more moisture remains in the hair shaft, and more moisture means less damage...another thing of beauty!

There is little doubt that flat irons are the current rage in hair care, and this particular iron can be used not only for straightening, but also for making big, beautiful, bouncy curls.

In addition to a HUGE inventory of flat irons, Flat Iron Experts also offers just about any kind of hair care product or appliance that you could want or need, and if you spend $50 or more, you're going to get free shipping & handling.  The customer service at FlatIronExperts.com is great, the shipping time is very fast, and if you are not happy with your order, the company honors all manufacturer warranties without question or fail.

If you are looking for a hair care appliance or product, now or at any time in the future, I suggest going to Flat Iron Experts first.  In addition to the great things I have detailed in this review, they also offer a price match guarantee:  If you find an item that costs less than the price they are offering it for (the exact same item only), the will match that price AND take an additional 5% off.

One last thing... if you're not in the market for a flat iron now (or a curling iron, hot rollers, hair extenstions, hair shine, thermal protection, etc.), keep Flat Iron Experts in mind for the upcoming holidays.  It is my very educated guess that most anyone would be excited to find the Cortex Solo 450° flat iron (or any other of the fantastic items on the website) gift-wrapped & with their name on it.

I would like to offer a big thank you to FlatIronExperts for sending the Cortex Solo 450° to review.  Be sure to keep your eyes open for the great deals and mark-downs they offer on their website.  You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or YouTube.

Disclosure:  I received the Cortex flat-iron discussed for review purposes only.  No other compensation exchanged hands and all opinions were unbiased and completely my own.

  6. Do they make a flat iron with a small curve in it? I have that in mine now and I love it because I can just give the ends a little bit of a curl very easily.
