The Red Robin Gourmet Burger Restaurant Rocks!

Red Robin restaurant is about an hour away from our house, so suffice it to say, we don't really go that often.  We do, however, have a house full of burger lovers, so when we do go, hubby and the kids are always delighted.  Yesterday we were in the neighborhood, so of course we had to stop by.

Every person in the family chose their burger of choice (and they all swore they had chosen THE best burger on the menu).  I chose the pasta, and fought off my youngest for the garlic bread that came with it (we compromised and shared it).  If you've ever been to Red Robin, you know that they have a fantastic selection of just about any type of hamburger concoction you could ever dream up.

Just for the record, and so you can see how diversified the menu is, if you've never been...my husband selected the Guacamole Bacon Burger and said it was a feast! The second oldest wanted to try something new, so he went with the Red Robin Bleu Ribbon Burger (and a salty caramel sundae for dessert).  He loved them both.  My daughter wanted 'just a burger' (her words, not mine) and opted for the most traditional sandwich she could find, which was the Red's Tavern Burger, minus the tomato.  She didn't say if she liked it or not, but it was gone before everyone else's, so I'm guessing it's safe to say that she did.  By the time dinner was over, everyone was stuffed.  Another happy trip to Red Robin.

So...now you know we like the food there, but we also like the atmosphere. The walls are full of memorabilia, it's happy-noisy (not obnoxious noisy), and the wait staff always seem to go out of their way to be efficient and friendly.  It's just a fun place to go with the family.

The best thing about this trip, however, was not the food, or the service, or the atmosphere (though they were all above reproach).  The best thing about the trip this time was that they had little fake mustaches in the bubblegum-type machines at the front of the store.  We all got one, of course (who's passing up a 75-cent mustache?!)...and we looked quite smashing, I must say.  A big shout out to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers for being consistent on quality, atmosphere, and fun!

  2. I guess I'm on a gumball machine kick lately, and didn't even know it!

I'm a vegetarian and I like Red Robin, lol. The carnivores in this house (which would be everyone but me!), love it even more. :)
